|Title||Commercial Credit Underwriter – 1761|
Responsible for underwriting and monitoring credit risk in commercial loan relationships. The Commercial Credit Underwriter will develop and analyze credit data to diversified types of commercial loans. Gathering, analyzing and documenting appropriate data for a variety of credit decision making processes. Provide underwriting support to the commercial lending team. This includes preparing a variety of credit memoranda (e.g. Credit Approval Reports, Annual Reviews), cash flows for businesses and individuals and overall financial analysis in compliance with established policies and procedures. Work with the Credit Manager on reporting projects, department progress tracking, Analyst and Loan Officer credit training and any other required support.
|Qualifications & Requirements||
5+ yrs. in commercial banking with a strong credit skills and underwriting loan transactions. 4 yr. degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics, formal credit training preferred. Strong analytical skills and proficient with financial statements. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with little supervision. Superior written and verbal communication skills.
